Fraud again this is probably for you.

While I can't pull up the whole case for some reason, basically my understanding of what the Judge wrote is:

If you are the OC-Assignee,  you can't add a collection fee.  You can only add the collection fee if you send it out to a seperate collection company, then you can if in the contract add a collection fee to the total owed.

AFNI is an assignee therefore an OC.  

The other issue was it was a violation of the  Wisconsin state credit card protection act.  I believe this is what they are appealling.

My question is AFNI is doing this routinely in all states from what I am gathering from reading others posting.  

Would it be possible or do you know a lawyer in Florida that would consider taking this as a class action suit.
